What You Can Post:

  • ⚠️ Captions only (video upload requires manual workflow)
  • ✅ Optimized caption with hashtags
  • ✅ Direct link to upload page

Requirements:

  • TikTok account
  • Content must be video (prepared separately)

Character Limits:

  • Caption: 2,200 characters
  • Hashtags: 30 maximum

Note: TikTok API doesn't support video uploads (per TikTok's API limitations), so GuestLoop generates optimized captions and opens TikTok for you to upload the video manually.


Connecting Social Media Accounts

Initial Setup

  1. Navigate to DashboardSocial Media
  2. Click "Connect Accounts" tab
  3. You'll see connection cards for each platform:
    • Instagram
    • Facebook
    • LinkedIn
    • TikTok

Connecting Instagram

Prerequisites:

  • Convert to Instagram Business or Creator account
  • Connect Instagram to a Facebook Page

Steps:

  1. Click "Connect Instagram"
  2. Log in to Facebook (Instagram uses Facebook OAuth)
  3. Select your Facebook Page
  4. Select connected Instagram account
  5. Authorize GuestLoop permissions:
    • ✅ Read profile info
    • ✅ Publish posts
    • ✅ Read insights (for analytics)
  6. Connection complete ✅

Troubleshooting:

  • "No Instagram accounts found" → Ensure Instagram is connected to Facebook Page
  • "Must be Business account" → Convert in Instagram Settings → Account → Switch to Professional Account

Connecting Facebook

Steps:

  1. Click "Connect Facebook"
  2. Log in to Facebook
  3. Select which Pages to connect (can connect multiple)
  4. Authorize GuestLoop permissions:
    • ✅ Manage Pages

    • ✅ Read Page insights

  • Connect multiple Facebook Pages

Connecting LinkedIn

Steps:
