Overview

The Marketing Hub consolidates all your marketing activities into one beautiful, easy-to-use dashboard. Instead of navigating to separate pages for emails, blogs, SMS, and automation, you can now create and manage everything from a single location.

Accessing the Marketing Hub

Navigate to Dashboard → Marketing from the sidebar, or click the "Marketing" link in the "Marketing & Revenue" section.

You'll see:

  • Recent Activity - Your latest campaigns, blogs, and automations
  • Quick Create button - Start a new marketing activity
  • Tab navigation - Switch between Campaigns, Content, Automation, and Performance

Quick Create Wizard

The Quick Create wizard guides you through creating marketing content step-by-step. Click the purple + Quick Create button to open it.

Creating an Email Campaign

  1. Click Quick CreateEmail Campaign
  2. Step 1: Choose Template - Select from 10 pre-written templates or start from scratch
  3. Step 2: Write Your Email - Use the rich text editor to customize your message
  4. Step 3: Select Audience - Filter guests by property, booking status, or custom criteria
  5. Step 4: Schedule - Send immediately or schedule for later
  6. Step 5: Celebrate! - Your campaign is on its way!

Rich Text Editor Features

The email editor includes a beautiful WYSIWYG toolbar:

  • Bold, Italic, Strikethrough - Format text with one click
  • Headings (H1, H2) - Organize your content
  • Bullet & Numbered Lists - Easy-to-scan information
  • Blockquotes - Highlight important messages
  • Links - Add clickable URLs
  • Undo/Redo - Never lose your work

Personalization Variables

Click any variable badge to copy it, then paste into your email:

  • {guest_name} - Guest's first name
  • {property_name} - Your property name
  • {guidebook_link} - Link to your guidebook
  • {booking_link} - Direct booking URL
  • {host_name} - Your name
  • {checkin_time} - Check-in time
  • {checkout_time} - Checkout time
  • {wifi_network} - WiFi network name
  • {wifi_password} - WiFi password

Creating a Blog Post

Blog posts appear in your guidebook's "Local Guide" section, helping guests discover local attractions.

  1. Click Quick CreateBlog Post
  2. Step 1: Choose Property - Select which guidebook this post will appear in
  3. Step 2: Select Category - Choose from 8 categories:
    • Things to Do
    • Restaurant Guide
    • Outdoor Adventures
    • Nightlife & Entertainment
    • Family Friendly
    • Local Tips
    • Seasonal Guide
    • Custom Topic
  4. Step 3: Write Your Guide - Use the rich text editor with AI assistance
  5. Step 4: Add Cover Image - Search Unsplash for a beautiful photo
  6. Step 5: Publish Settings - Set visibility, SEO, and guidebook options

AI Generate Draft

Enter a title and click AI Generate Draft to get a starting point for your content. The AI will create:

  • Introduction with local flavor
  • Top recommendations section
  • Insider tips
  • Directions from your property

Creating an SMS Campaign

SMS campaigns are perfect for time-sensitive messages with 98% open rates.

  1. Click Quick CreateSMS Campaign
  2. Step 1: Select Audience - Choose recipients by property or filters
  3. Step 2: Compose Message - Write your SMS (160 characters = 1 segment)
  4. Step 3: Schedule - Send now or schedule for later

SMS Templates

Choose from 5 ready-to-use templates:

  • Welcome - Greet arriving guests
  • Checkout Reminder - Day-before notifications
  • Review Request - Post-stay feedback

Character Limits

  • 160 characters = 1 SMS segment (recommended)
  • 320 characters = 2 SMS segments
  • The editor shows real-time character count and segment warnings

Creating Marketing Automation

Automation workflows send emails automatically based on triggers.

  1. Click Quick CreateMarketing Automation
  2. Step 1: Choose Template - Select from 7 automation types:
    • Welcome Email (on booking)
    • Pre-Arrival Info (before check-in)
    • Post-Stay Review Request (after checkout)
    • Rebooking Invitation (30 days later)
    • Birthday Greeting (on guest birthday)
    • Win-Back Campaign (for lapsed guests)

Connect your social accounts and post directly from GuestLoop.

Troubleshooting

"Continue" button is disabled

Make sure you've completed all required fields in the current step. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).

Rich text editor not loading

Refresh the page. The editor loads dynamically and may take a moment on slow connections.

Variable not being replaced

Ensure you're using the exact format: {variable_name} including the curly braces.

Campaign not sending

Check that recipients haven't unsubscribed and that your email quota hasn't been exceeded.
